Hello everyone,
Just a reminder that we still need more scouts(only 3 so far) for the service project this Thursday at 6:00 pm. We will be spreading mulch in the parking lot dividers at St. Odilia. This is a great opportunity to earn service hours for a rank advancement and help out St. Odilia with the start of the new school year.

St Odilia Mulch

Hello Everyone,
On August 27th from 6:00 to 7:00pm we will be helping out St. Odilia with the new school year by spreading mulch in the parking lot dividers in the front of the school. This is a great way to earn service hours for rank advancements and to give back to St. Odilia. Please bring shovels, rakes and wheel barrels if you have them. Some adults are also needed to drive the mulch in a tractor to each location.

They have a backpack/school supply distribution event each year. They need more volunteers this Saturday, from Noon to 3:00 p.m. Please sign up as soon as possible using the link below. Hi everyone,

Next weekend, Saturday, August 29th, I will be hosting my Eagle Project. We will be building outdoor games for the City of Shoreview. They will be giant Jenga, giant Yahtzee, and ladder golf. There are opportunities for all ages to help out and get service hours. If you are free, please consider signing up. Merrick Community Services BACKPACKS

Hello,
We identified a need for volunteers for Saturday so please consider helping out! This organization would like a count of volunteers by the end of the day TODAY, Wednesday. This is another way to get service hours, as we won't have the opportunity to get service hours at the St. Odilia Fall Festival.

TONIGHT!!!

Hello there scouts,
before we get going tonight a quick word from our sponsors.
From SPL News,
Scouts please remember to bring blue cards, yes I repeat PLEASE BRING YOUR BLUE CARDS.
adults who went to the campout, the troop as a whole could use you to hand in/ sign off on blue cards.
WELCOME ONE, WELCOME ALL, TO THE GREATEST MATCH OF HIDE-AND-SEEK TAG

Y O U. W I L L. E V E R. P L A Y.

To participate in this awesome event, you only need to come to Mr. Blincow’s Home of Residence at 7 PM TONIGHT!

If you seek a way of action, bring good running shoes to stay light on your feet. If you seek a way of stealth, bring clothes that can blend in to a woodsy area. If you seek a way of pursuing, bring running shoes, pants, and a good eye.

Things for everyone to bring are clothes you don’t especially like, as they WILL get burs on them or get muddy. Wear your class B, but be prepared to take it off.
Adults bring camping chairs as I have a special job for you.
Also bring bug spray, as we don’t want anyone to get murdered by mosquitoes.
Until we meet again,
-The Gamemaster
(Secretly Jack but the above is cooler)

And don’t worry about rules, I already have a way to show them.
Mr. Blincow’s house is at
2910 Hamline Avenue North

Please Return Troop Merit badge books and camping gear

Hello Scouts, Scouters and Parents!
I am asking all to please look through your book shelves, Under your beds ;) for any mertit badge books! We have many missing from our library. The troop has purchased several over the last few years, (many are the eagle required). We would like to keep this an option for all current and future scouts!
We had 28 scouts attend Tomahawk the first week of August. If you used any scouting gear please bring it to the meeting on Monday at Mr Blincows.! I you have happened to clean out your garage during Covid and have found any other equipment from previous camp out....Tarps, Tents, Cooler oct please bring those along too! ( we seem to be missing all our tarp. The last time they were used was at the cave campout in Nov. 2019...
Thank you for checking. It truly makes scouting affordable for all when we keep cost down and don't have to purchase new supplies!

Looking forward to another great year of scouting growth in 2020. We are on track in Nomahawk was any indication!

Reminder, at the last Parent meeting Court of Honor was changed to Sept 14th. Stay tuned for more details!!!

Yours in scouting,

Anne Moe
